Possibly. He finished his last year 1st in the league in yards and tds. His last drive will be the completion of a 27-3 comeback to tie the game. His last TD will be that 50 yard bomb to Evans over Ramsey. He's like the one great that went out that nobody ever saw him decline and look mortal. Everyone else fell off.

A few guys were like that as well. Brown, Barry, Elway etc were all still playing at an elite level when they called it quits.

If anyone deserves to have the waiting period waived, it's Brady.

I kinda agree. Especially if guys like Ben, maybe Rodgers, Peterson etc all retire this year. Also Brady retiring probably means Gronk. That class in 5 years is going to be stupid stacked. It really might make sense to get Brady out of the way.

Though hockey is the only sport that really waives the waiting period and they did it 10 times then stopped with Gretzky. But if anybody in footnall should it's him and with how the class might be it could clog a lot of people up

Brown definitly same with Barry. Elway.... eh it was evident he lost a step. He just got TD at the right time before he was totally done and couldn't contribute. But he definitly lost a noticeable step. Especially that last year. He probably goes for 3 in a row if he didn't slide that year
