We should be sellers.  Let's not kid ourselves, this is not a team that can win in the playoffs.  We may shock a team or two that take us lightly, but we are not a good football this year.

But...instead of selling now, I'm now thinking buy.  Trade for Claypool.  He won't help this year, but let's trade for him and give him a nice deal for 3 years.  That could be enough to entice Rodgers to hang around...to go along with Doubs and Watson...and maybe even Lazard.

And if that doesn't keep #12 around....it gives more weaponry to Love.  And he's going to need all the help he can get.  Claypool isn't all that, but he's better than anything we have right now.  And it isn't even close.

Woah is me, the team couldn't win in the playoffs last year either but so what?  Teams get healthy, get hot, get lucky, make a trade or two, cut a guy or two, fire a coach .. so many variables that contributes to winning or losing.  Right now the Packers haven't won for a number of reasons with different factors in play.  Packers do need another decent wr and or tight end to help out the offense.   If nothing is done at any level, this team looks to struggle.

Tonyan is going to be that tight end when he’s back to that 90-100% range.

He’s getting there.

Agreed on that .. good tight end.  Blocking, play calling, better qb play will help right the ship but I'd like to maybe have a couple more hands on deck.

Yosh, Dillon, Jenkins come to mind because of the limited cap implications, and you could actually get something of value in return. Plus, I'm not giving those guys another contract. Yosh is OK, but he's not a franchise type of player which you give him a big contract. Dillon is a RB and we paid Jones, who is still a lot better than Dillon. Jenkins is not a tackle, and I would not give a guard the kind of money he's going to want.

Maybe disagree about Yosh. He’s shown enough at LT and is still young that he could be a very good RT for a long time and not have to break the bank on.

Don't lose assets, we ain't winning ****. Keep as much capital as possible for the Rodgers-less days.

If we’re going to be relying on 4th-7th round picks post Rodgers, we’re not doing anything in that era either.

I have never understood having more than one pick in rounds 4-7 if you can use those picks to move up in rounds 1-3 or acquire in season talent.

It’s an absurd mentality GMs have.

Claypool doesn't offer anything we don't already have.  Let the Chiefs work a deal for him and then see if we can re-aquire MVS.

Actually, just relax and wait for Mr. MVP to let his hair grow out again.  The new doo was his response to being alone instead of escorting another young actress around.

When Aaron realizes he's not a Peaky Blinder and he's still a GB Packer things will settle down.

Keep the faith baby!

Possibly, but that would depend on what they think about Jones, Walker and Tom as tackles of the future.

As for Yosh's contract, see Christian Kirk of how insane these things can get on the open market. If other teams believe Yosh is a very good LT, he's getting a truckload of money.
