Except I'm so tired of this narrative. What has he really accomplished in all those .500+ seasons? At some point you just gotta move on. The goal isn't to go .500 and look mediocre as **** doing it. It's to win a SB.

Since we last played in the SB in 2010, only 6 teams have won it without Mahomes or Brady. It’s not easy dude.

The average NFL teams wins 1 SB every 32 years.

Seven straight seasons without a postseason victory. Longest streak the franchise has had since before the Super Bowl era. How many franchises would accept that? Hopefully I've seen him coach his last game in Pittsburgh.

You're right. But 7 seasons without a Post season victory. Save the excuses. It's time for a fresh mind at HC.

A handful of franchises would crawl across glass for the last seven years of Pittsburgh football.

No no, not what I'm saying. I'm not saying I don't appreciate Tomlin's tenure.  I'm just saying I think we need to move on to the next era.

Your guy's conversation reminds me very much of GB and McCarthy debates

Dolphins literally haven't won a postseason game in over 20 years. They have 3 postseason appearances in the last 20.

Well, let's look at Wikipedia:

Quote

Since joining the Steelers in 2007, he has led the team to eleven playoff runs, seven division titles, three AFC Championship Games, two Super Bowl appearances, and a title in Super Bowl XLIII

Most franchises would kill for that. Your team isn't going to win the SB every year, they aren't going to get to the AFCCG every year. They have a chance every year, literally, and that's all you can ask out of any franchise.

They would crawl across glass for zero playoff wins and endless frustration?

Okay...
