Sasquatch
So Davante Adams thinks he’s the top receiver in the game today. He’s having a great season no doubt, but is he better than the “celebrities” ahead of him in the public’s eye? Good question. He’s having a better year year than some of the usual suspects named in the top five receivers, but is he better than Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, Thielen, etc etc...? Discuss. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/packers-davante-adams-says-hes-the-nfls-best-wr-but-isnt-getting-the-respect-he-deserves/

He virtually disappeared when Diggs missed a game. Diggs is the best WR on that team. Adams does what he does despite having virtually nothing else around him at WR. Adams is top 5-10 depending on what characteristics you're looking at. One of the best route runners in the game and one of the best at creating separation off the line. He belongs in the conversation.

Apex
He is top 5 certainly, and you could make the case for him being top 3. It's funny to think back a couple of seasons when people wanted to jettison him. Who knows where we'd be if that had happened.

Pugger
I wonder how many of the top WRs in this league would have been as productive as Adams was with Hundley throwing them the rock.

I’m just glad we have him and hope one or more of our young guys evolves into a successful playmaker like him.
wgbeethree
Adams has definitely faced a who's who of cornerbacks so far this year and no one has come close to stopping him. Rhodes (2) Norman White Slay Sherman Peters, Talib Gilmore

Hopkins, Beckham are 2 that have been top tier for multiple years with some crap at QB.

Rhodes (2) Norman White Slay Sherman Peters, Talib Gilmore The best CB he's faced this year has been Xavien Howard and Adams beat up on the other CB, Howard blanked him (maybe it was like 1/9) though they didn't square off much. Where have I been lately that Xavien Howard is better than a single guy on that list? I honestly am 1 of about all the rest of the US population though who doesn't partake in Dolphins football. LOL. I was going to add him but as you pointed out he didn't really go up against him and as Raymond pointed out nobody knows who he is. Antonio Brown also has 32. He undoubtedly should be up there with the best. Edited December 2, 2018 by Gopackgonerd
