Bill Huber -   That Aaron Rodgers fellow has a chance to be first QB in NFL history with 4,000 yards, 30 TDs and 3 INTs. Nobody has 4,000/30/4; only Rodgers has 4,000/30/5. And yet half of NFL Blogger Twitter thinks he's a bum.

The problem is he could have 4500/36/6 if he'd throw over the middle of the field more and we'd be a much better offense as a result.

It's absolutely stupid insane how people can't seem to understand how these things connect.

First of all, the first part.  He has a CHANCE.  Nice.  The Redskins have a chance at the playoffs.  Rodgers is throwing 1.8 touchdowns per game on the year.  There are 4 games left.  He's behind schedule.

Second, 30 touchdowns is not some incredible feat in this league anymore.  Nine quarterbacks got to 30 touchdown passes last year.  3 the year before, 5 the year before, 11 the year before, 9 the year before.  30 touchdowns is the new 20 touchdowns.

Third, as @Golfman said, 4,000, 36, 8 is likely a better year than 4,000, 30, 3.

The comment was nothing more than an NFL factoid - but it points out "That Aaron Rodgers fellow has a chance to be first QB in NFL history..."

So, sure...saying it could always be more, thats easy enough to type - but given that nobody's ever done it before - maybe its not as easily attained as implied.

I think you should take that up with Bill Huber. My read of his stuff is he sees and connects the dots just fine, but perhaps you can set him straight or expand his perspective.

That shtick got old a while ago. If you bring information from the internet it's because you find it interesting or relevant enough - at least we can only assume so, since you always post it without comment or further insight. If you want to be a Twitter bot that's fine, but don't get defensive when people point out mistakes or disagree with what you brought.
