Jared Goff: 4 years, 134 million dollars.

10.6 million cap hit 2019
36 million cap hit 2020

5 starts, 1600 yards, 7.4 yards per attempt, 7 touchdowns, 7 interceptions.

Gardner Misnew: 4 years, 2.7 million dollars.

3 starts, 900 yards, 7.1 yards per attempt, 7 touchdowns, 1 interception

One can only hope that the Bears give a similar deal to their own QB who is not good but in a scheme that makes him look better than he is.

The Rams downfall is going to be swift, and it's going to be significant.

I told everyone this guy was not worth the money. He was plain SACRED in the Super Bowl. The bigger problem (or at least as big) in LA is a defense that sucks. Slow down Aaron Donald and the secondary can't cover.

As for the Bears, heard on a Chicago radio station, internally they are debating even exercising the 5th year option on Trubisky. They realize his limitations may be too hard to overcome and they missed on him. Investing what will probably be 24-25 million for one more year on a QB with no franchise player upside is a waste of time and resources. IMO, they are going to be stuck trying to keep that defense together and making it work with a mid to lower tier guy.

I really curse the saints and their fans for doing what they did to the reffing.

The league wont do it - but I hope they go back to the way things were pre- "the most egregious non-DPI call in history" took place.
I also think the league is "bulking up" on replay layers to the game as a hedge against this legalized gambling craze. Thats nothing but pure supposition.....but, just saying.

NY Post: Le’Veon Bell might like a mulligan.

Joining the Jets on a four-year, $52.5 million deal with plans of forming a “special duo” with Sam Darnold, the star running back is now wasting a second straight year of his prime, this season as part of the league’s most anemic offense.

After sitting out last season with the Steelers, Bell, 27, has spent the majority of this year playing behind an offensive line made of silk and a quarterback who began the season on the practice squad. Through four winless games, during which the Jets have scored just two offensive touchdowns, the league’s second-highest paid running back has just one score and been limited to 2.9 yards per carry.

In five seasons with Pittsburgh, Bell made three Pro Bowls, and averaged over 4.3 yards per carry.

Bell was long part of one of the league’s most explosive offenses, never experiencing a losing season in the NFL or college.

Now, he sees what was buried in the fine print of a contract to join a team without a playoff appearance since 2010.

Teddy Bridgewater will be out there at the end of the season.  He'd be very good in that system.
