I think for me he looked like a tackle when I was evaluating him. I didn't see guard in his profile

1.25 - Jordan Morgan [OT; Arizona]
{Family Ghost} replied to Packerraymond's topic in Green Bay Packers
He played pretty well, but the Packers must not be fully bought in on him. Apparently they want to see him earn it against some legit competition in Morgan. -
Looks to me like it's just the depth chart from last year unchanged with the players no longer with the team removed. RB, RG, ILB, S and S are all blank.
-
With the trade in the 1st round, the Chiefs are left with only one pick--#64. They still have a list of needs but nothing pressing. I like Braden Fiske but I doubt he lasts. TEs are possible but OTs are already picked over. Other possibilities include CB, S, Edge, even RB.

was rasheed not super good down the stretch? i thought he was kinda killing it, no? -
Turner, 21, was highly regarded as one of the best edge rushers in this year’s draft. He was a consensus All-American at Alabama in 2023, registering 11.0 sacks with 15.5 tackles for loss. He was a first-team All-SEC selection after leading the conference in sacks. He also led the Crimson Tide in tackles for loss. Overall, Turner played 42 games with 27 starts in three seasons at Alabama. He finished his career with 23.5 sacks with 33.5 tackles for loss. PFT

2024 NFL draft Rd 1 GDT (No Spoilers!)
Steve_DeBerg_Fan_420 replied to Forge's topic in San Francisco 49ers
I don't hate the idea. If you can get the ball out faster than a free guy can get hit. If you can get Olinemen with hands and feet good enough to get their hands on guys first, then you can score a lot of points and win a lot of games. Some of the best offenses ever were 3 and 4 receiver teams. The greatest show on turf, the 07 Patriots, the 2010 Packers. Brock can read the field and get the ball out fast. He is great against blitzes, spreading out the filed gives us easy yards. -
Motor City MoJo: Detroit Lion updates

It is the third consecutive year the Lions have drafted an Alabama player in the first round. PFT -
Just burning money on niche players. This was a stacked draft at receiver. They were always going to get one

Steve Smith likes him and he’s had great breakdowns on receiver prospects.

Detroit selects at #24: Terrion Arnold, CB Alabama
Louis Friend replied to General Tso's topic in Detroit Lions
He was considered top 11-15 on most big boards. Did not expect him to fall. Damn glad he did. -
I’ve been in the McCarty train for a long long time. He was my #3 QB but I wanted and thought he could be had around #7-#11 pick selection, so I’m glad we got him in that range #10 (low end)
-
Agree on Terrion. For Morgan, I'm fine with him being at either position. But GB does a good job developing OL.
-
Because the cap is fake and we couldn't afford to only have deebo and aiyuk under contract. Literally every other WR on the roster besides those three are terrible. Jauan earned 5m by his run blocking alone. I am happy to use him like he is TE2 tbh but we have some serious WR depth for 2024 at this point

First impressions: Best and worst picks thus far?
Teen Girl Squad replied to RaidersAreOne's topic in NFL Draft
No reason to let Slater walk. By the time his contract is due, the Chargers will have plenty of cap space. They don't have anyone else to pay and Harbs wants a great line. -
Yes! Yes, I saw a rumor that Kyle was upset with Deebo and his lack of beating man or separating. Now you got Pearsall who can separate and run good routes. He’s also a fairly good contested catcher.

Mike Williams? -
It's just reality of the league and how this team is not built to pay two WRs 50M. We have too many high paid players elsewhere and Deebo is either gone tomorrow or next offseason. Obviously things change a bit if they decide to move Aiyuk instead, but that would be stupid. Pearsall and Aiyuk both know how to get open and have great catch radius. Works well with Purdy. I would not rule out Jennings being traded on day 3 either. I think Kyle is intrigued with Bell and he's just far more explosive than Jennings. We will address OL at some point in the first three rounds. A lot of quality interior OL in the draft and some solid tackle prospects in the mid rounds.
-
and he's going to have something to prove to the NFL about where he was drafted, and that he wasn't the first defensive player chosen.
