He wouldn't be WR1, he wouldn't be WR2, or WR3, maybe he can fight for #4, probably he is WR5. So while I'm "interested" I have to wonder if we already have his type of player in Trevor Davis, who is entering a contract year (4). And honestly, I think you can draft a deep threat with a 3rd or 4'th this year and be just as good off, if not better. Speed receiver with a lower cap number due to draft position. I guess I’m in this category as well. I really wanted other thoughts on him. He’s young and super fast so it’s intriguing but why are they so quick to give up on him? Not like they’re loaded at WR either. Odd note. 7 TD’s in about 35 receptions is really good but a guy with sub 4.3 speed with an average of 10yds per catch seems low. That vertical has to be an anmoly.

Chili
Quote CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Bears are shopping Jordan Howard via trade. Howard is a one-dimensional early-down back entering the final year of his contract. He was fine with a 260-970-9 rushing line while averaging just over 3.7 YPC, but Howard just doesn't seem to fit the way coach Matt Nagy likes to call a game. Tarik Cohen is deserving of more work, and Nagy likely prefers backs that can contribute in all phases. At one point last year, there were rumors the Dolphins were interested in Howard. He wouldn't bring back anything more than a late pick. Jordan Howard would be perfect in our offensive scheme. He is a patient one cut north/south runner. Great feet for a big back. He would solve our short yardage issues too. Would make an excellent 1-2 punch with Jones imo. Its a crying shame that the Bears will never trade him to us. I was wondering about this the other day. Is there a rule in place preventing us from say having Cleveland trade pick 119 for him and then immediately trading him to us for pick 118? Yea his remaining contract sucks, $15.5 this year and $17 in 2020 so I'm guessing KC wouldn't get much in return, but yea, a new deal would have to be reached given the current numbers. Not at those cap figures. Think this is a chiefs brass spread story in an effort to try and create a market for him before releasing him.

I'd rather sign one of the younger FA's than give up a draft pick for him and his contract anyway.
