There's such an advantage when your QB is on a rookie contract. We likely won't have a roster this talented in the foreseeable future. Fortunately though, all the other elite QBs are in the AFC. Even if we're not the most talented team overall, we have the best QB in the conference and that'll go a long way. But considering the success rate of the Super Bowl loser the following season, we probably shouldn't get our hopes up. I know the Bengals made it to the AFCCG but they're an outlier. I do dislike the team and most fans as well, but what Danger is saying is spot in and why the hate is magnified. Dallas is a top 5 hated team, period. There’s 2 other teams, yet the Eagles seem to trash the Cowboys at every opportunity. I don’t disagree that the Cowboys have sucked for over 2 decades. So it’s the crazy Cowboy fans that buy merch and/or brag like they are going to the S.B. every year, regardless of the circumstances. That is what drives the Eagles hate for Dallas, more than NYG and Washington fans. Those kind of Cowboys fans are annoying as hell and give the rational ones a bad name. It’s also fueled by national media, Jerry and just the brand. It’s a meme but one very much grounded in reality. Dallas losing or not being good is a prism that anything can look better through.
