Jack's injury was considered to be a lot worst than Joseph's stereotypical ACL tear.

Jack wasn't actually injured at the time tho his knee had been surgically repaired and the question was how long it would hold up that he may need microfracture surgery in the future.

He was considered a top 5 talent with an injury concern, he was mocked to Jaxsonville in the 1st until the injury news, they had huge hole at LB, he fell to the 2nd so they pulled the trigger.

That is exactly what I was saying. He was top 10 til slightly before the draft when the injury news really heated up (had always been a concern). Then he started to really fall in teams eyes compared to other prospects.

True. It's crazy how far they have come in ACL repair technology. At one point it was considered to be a career ender, but now it seems that it is just business as usual.

Texans signed Brad Seely as Special Teams coordinator.  How was he with you guys?

He's a good but not great ST coordinator IMO. He certainly has a track record here of developing fringe roster guys into strong Spteamers. Seemed like we always had really good gunners while he was here. Not so much returners

I stopped reading after you said "good".  I'm sold already.   LOL

So rumor has it that Shurmur is looking to bring jdr as his dc to the giants. Tried to warn my buddies that are giants fans about it. Now I understand that the giants have more talent on that side of the ball than we do, but that they will out schemed constantly. They weren’t hearing it. Can’t wait to laugh in their faces. Consider yourselves lucky that you don’t have to deal with giants fans.

Tom coughlin is Patriot kryptonite, good lord.

Blake is making throws, the 3rd and 4th WRs are making highlight catches catches, The run game is versatile (Four, Grant and Yeldon) and productive and the defense is putting pressure on Brady in front of solid man to man coverage. That's the recipe haha. It just requires A LOT to go right.

If Foles wins the Superbowl and Wentz returns to being MVP candidate for years to come, but doesn't win a superbowl for the Eagles... would Foles become the biggest cult hero in sports? 7 TD game v. Oakland, that insane year with 27 v. 2 TD/INT ratio, then Philly's only SB win? Basically all the highlights of a great career, but as a journeyman back up. Would be crazy.

He'll end up signing a $120 million contract for 6 years with the Ravens only to play terribly for the rest of his career.
