With pick 85 of the 2019 TCMD Mini, the Houston Texans select Ben Banogu, Edge, Texas Christian University

With an eye toward the future and the real possibility that both Clowney & Mercilus may be moved, the Texans add another pass rusher to the stable.

Banogu's production backs up his explosive performance at the NFL Combine.  Some may say it was early, but get the players you want is our motto.

Banogu will primarily be a 3rd and long specialist and special teams player initially.  We see the real possibility that he grows into one of the best pass rushers in the NFL in the near future.
