That’s an all timer and extremely puzzling in the moment as well.
The Gnat
Twins roughed up DeGrom nicely yesterday. Time to see if they can do the same to Syndegaard. I don't know that they'll be able to do it twice in a row, but I really like to see the Twins offense doing something as compared to last year.

Give the guy one or two warm up throws and that's it. Do that instead of a pitch clock and the game will be much faster. It's so f***ing simple Another thing is, the manager doesn't need to walk out to the mound either. -Phone Call "Ay Joe you're in." -Joe JOGS out there, takes the ball from Willie, and Willie goes to the dugout. Then a couple warmup pitches. Managers should be coming out of the dugout a LOT less in general. It's one of the biggest reasons the game is slow. One more thing. Institute a 30 second pitch clock, fewer instances permitted of calling time.
Thelonebillsfan
So I think the Pirates made a wee bit of an oopsie with that whole "trading all our good young players for one guy" thing.
