Like i said, Peyton did it with 5 different head coaches and 2 different teams. Head coaches have the biggest influence on a teams system. Not carry over variations of playbook or offensive concepts. NE and Brady under Bill have used the same system, always. The Bilichick system. Different OC using variations of the playbooks with the same terminologies, isnt a change of systems.

Peyton is 1 of the few qbs who wasnt DEPENDENT on his head coach for success. Guys like Brady, Brees, Montana and others... not so much.

Peyton's head coaches had about the least impact on his offense.

Moore ran the show as did the follow up OCs

The most important part is that Peyton was also like an OC on the field.

The offense was simple in some ways but super complicated in others that Manning was calling between multiple options based on read on almost every play.

The guy (Peyton) is a football genius and Moore was a great OC.

Are we going with the story that Dungy, Caldwell, Fox, and Kubiak all wanted to get in the way of that?

Kubiak is a very bright offense mind so if he made some tweaks I would not be surprised (mainly on the run game)

The smart move would be to let Moore (or the system after Moore) and Peyton keep doing what works so well.

Why do i like Tom but cant stand Edleman. Am i prejudice against short people?

Tom is fairly humble for someone of his stature.

He would not even say a bad word about Goodell during all the mess.

Edelman is very chesty.

Maybe that is the difference?
