Leader
I taped this game. I deleted the recording soon as I had the opportunity. We need to be super sharp in our talent evals and procurement. I really dont want to stink for a handful of years in order to get top draft talent. Our Scouting and Coaching need to be better. This wasnt gonna be our year. I can live with the loss. Its been a good / successful season. It's the butt kicking that's troubling. The fact that it happened twice to the same squad is more than telling. Edited January 20, 2020 by Leader
Leader
Apparently today is Blue Monday -- which is rumored to be the most depressing day of the year. HA! How's that for timing! LOL Even the calendar's conspiring against us. Chin up folks. Tuesday's just around the corner.

That's certainly not too much to ask. Sure, scoring zero points in a half with 2 turnovers, one of which gave SF the ball at our 30 yard line, is perfectly acceptable QB play, it's only the defense who's to blame. Packer_ESP
First half offense: Drive 1 (5 plays): 12 yards passing, 13 yards running, punt Drive 2 (5 plays): 14 yards passing, 3 yards running, -13 yards sack, punt Drive 3 (3 plays): -2 yards passing, 6 yards running, -10 yards sack, punt Drive 4 (6 plays): 23 yards passing, 28 yards running, fumble (ball at SF 25) Drive 5 (3 plays): 19 yards passing, 0 yards running, interception (ball at GB 30) Drive 6 (3 plays): -1 yards passing, 2 yards running, punt Was the defense absolutely putrid? You're goddamn right it was. Are you winning a NFCCG with this offense? Not a chance.

And again tonight. Agreed, Rodgers did not play very well and deserves to be criticized for aspects of his performance. However, the defense, specifically the run defense, was not just bad it was historically bad.

Doesn't mean the offense didn't suck, SF running at will over our defense doesn't mean we can't score points of our own between their drives. Yeah it does ... 281 yards on the ground chews up a lot of clock. Need more offensive talent along with D line and inside LB. It's evident the 1st year coach needs more experience and this type of game helps believe it or not.

Nope, need better play calling, 2 new WR at a minimum, another TE at least, a good fullback if you're running the ball and not play a team with 5000 top 10 lst round draft choices cuz they've sucked for years at their place. Tanking for 5 years like they did does pay off on occasion but not fun to watch for their fans.

Because the offense got some pretty garbage time points? The offense had 14 first half drives against the 49ers this year and scored 0 points. That's honestly an amazing accomplishment.

Both O and D performed bad in 1st half. O adjusted in 2nd and D doesn’t.

Those were not garbage points.. D got a ball with 6:30 left and we are down 14. Brady and Wilson won SB and NFCCG in the similar situation. Only key is their defense woke up at right time and made stops and our D never woke up.
