HE Looked to slow for a full back last season.

SteelKing728
He's about to be 29 years old, and while some older backs are still productive, I think he'll be completely done in about 3 years time.
JonStark
DJ is gonna kill it in Tampa Bay, and he'll be on every one of my fantasy teams.
Tugboat
Unless he finds some crazy unexpected resurgence... For me, he'll always kinda go down as like...the Peyton Hillis of "dual threat receiving backs". With that one absolutely monstrous elite season, and honestly really...not a lot else. RBs can be voodoo like that.
soflbillsfan
He isnt getting cut nor traded his cap hit is 14 mil where the dead cap is 16 mil. Makes zero sense to let him go now when it would cost them money for him to not be on the team. No team is going to trade and take on a 9 mil cap hit for a guy who cant stay healthy and has been on the decline. Unfortunately for both sides he will be there atleast one more year. This is one of the many examples why you do not pay a RB a ton of money, as they can quickly fall off the map fast.

Johnson isn't even the best receiving RB in Cardinals history (Larry Centers).
tom cody
He was looking very good for a while but injuries crept up on him. Hopefully if he goes to another team that allows him to rejuvenate his career.
