So I bet we will see another wave of FAs cause those signings won’t affect your comp pick projection. I think the browns are in line for a 3rd rd pick for Joe Scho but im not sure. so why risk a 3rd pick on a one year rental in Clowney. Now they won’t have too

If we could get him at 3 years 39M we should do it ASAP and not look back. That would be incredible value. Especially with the rising cap. But I don’t think he’d go that low. Yeah, he's maybe a little above average and has his limitations but it would be a better group with him in it then not. By far the biggest question mark on the team to me, as far as position groups. Trust me on this one: I drafted Phillips in one of my walkthemocks last year. I also think he's gonna be a good one, despite a lot of folks wanting name brand Harrison. I just read through the list and there are like 40 recongnizable names on it that you would assume would be on teams Just a few: Clowney, Newton, Talib, Amukamara, Everson Griffen, Winston, Snacks Harrison, Mike Daniels, Devonte Freeman, Reshed Jones, Jason Peters, Delanie Walker, Trumaine Johnson, Cordy Glenn, Marcel Darius, Ziggy Anseh, Jabaal Sheard, Carlos Hyde, Clay Matthews, Brandon Carr, Darron Lee, Demaryius Thomas. Please give me Clay Matthews right this second.....PLEASE

They are the guys I am out on, the rest I would be very interested in bringing in. Clay Matthews to play some Strong Side linebacker and pass rusher, Clowney, or Griffen would be all great players for us to get on the roster. Id bring Hyde in to be our 3rd rb should chubb or hunt go down.

IDK how much Sheard has left in his system but him being a passing down rotational guy sounds good to me too
ReggieCamp
To add to @Kiwibrown's post above, there's no reason to wait to sign Clowney. Ain't no way we're getting any comp picks after what we did in FA this year, whether we sign Clowney or not. If we're gonna do it, we should do it immediately.

Yeah comp picks shouldn’t matter for this year, we signed way too much in Conklin and Hooper to get much in return there. Plus we already have 2 picks in R3, R4, R5 iirc. Go get him.
candyman93
I don’t know how GMs normally do it, but I imagine there will be massive signings this week starting Tuesday.

candyman93
Larry Warford of the Saints intrigues me as well. Saints (for whatever reason) drafted Cesar Ruiz with a 1st.
MWil23
Team roster cut downs are going to be interesting. I wonder what interior OL can be had as depth/swing guys. We really need Clowney. Clowney will mask a lot of our LB ineptitude, which is something we should be hiding gamely.

Add to that a DB filled with #1 and #2 picks and we are fine there, on paper at least.
