It's absurd right now. yeah, defensive play league wide is horrendous and i'm guessing has to do with lack of contact practices before the season started etc etc. but it's really the situational stuff that gets to me- being last on 3rd downs and last in the red zone. those are areas where we were strong with pees and it was tantamount to his bend-don't-break style. now we just bend and break lol. if we can get that cleaned up, our defense will be average. and an average defense is something you can absolutely work with with our offense. I think a lot of people have this expectancy of defense through watching football through the years. Every other week you see one of the leagues best defense get a 30 burger dropped on em.
