If you don’t hate that those BS flip hand offs are called passing TDs then we can’t have any kind of dialogue. That’s just bogus nonsense to inflate passing stats.

And if you don’t think Mahomes/Reid are trying to pad some passing stats today to make up some pretty average weeks then you’re not watching the same game.

There's no more of an issue with those jet sweeps being called passing TDs than with RB screens being called passing TDs. It's the same for everyone, and everyone runs them at this point, so I don't know why it matters.

And why should they not pass against a team that can't stop them from passing? It's not stat padding, it's playing winning football.

I mean these have been happening regularly for like 5 years now.  It really seems like the only reason you brought it up is because it's Mahomes.

Should also only count pass yards in the air. QBs shouldn't get credit for yards or TDs after the catch.

Eh I’m not sure about that, but I’d be on board for only counting throws that go forward of the line of scrimmage as “passes”. Turning screens into run plays.

I think Mahomes is a 1 in a million dude who really doesn't care about stats. Winning the MVP in his first playing year then losing to Brady in that close playoff game seemed to color everything he said afterwards with that locked in, stack championships at all costs mindset. Now Reid might be thinking that way
