That's an issue We were imperfect and lost by three (in overtime) to a "quality team"........In fact, we may be an average/ bad team, that is overachieving(?).... This is like blaming the teacher for your kid getting an F. Sure, the teacher could've done MORE to help your kid but your kid is still the one that got the F. The fact that we can't win games vs the #1 defense when scoring 31 points is not an offense problem. You're also talking about situational football though. It's not an excuse to suck on offense in the 2nd half because you were extra good in the 1st half. Our defense was reeling and its a C unit anyways with an F coordinator, we know that. We couldn't afford to be that bad offensively when it happened, yet it did, and it's happened now 3 times in the last 4 weeks. Teams are adjusting at half and we don't have answers. I addressed this already, my man. I've acknowledged that we're not perfect but we literally don't have time to work on situational football because every single friggin' time, our defense ****s the bed and we're put in an corner on "execute or lose" every possession. No offense is flawless. By bitching about situational football in games that we shoud've won easily if we had a competent DC, is just bitching for the sake of bitching. We all know MLF is still learning. He's admitted as much. We're not going to be perfect. If the defense gets a stop at all, we win that game.

They go ice cold for entire quarters. Every offense does. MacReady
People expect way too much from offenses. NFL average points scored is like 23. If you go a quarter without moving the ball a yard after you scored 28 points in the first two quarters... You’re still a good offense.
40Year Pack Fan
People have unrealistic expectations....We just struggled against two one win teams, finishing 1-1....We than play a quality team and lose by three points in overtime....One might think that is a portent of good things to come... I saw a lot of good mixed in with the obvious bad. This would have been agreat W and we had it in our hands. Tough loss. Next week is the much bigger game. Chi coming off of their bye, I hope this team has a bad taste in their mouth all week and come out salty next week. The Bears definitely will. The bears offense is so bad that pettine will probably be able to come out of that one safe for another week. They are just bad on that side of the ball. Packers should be able to slip by the Bears. deltarich87
IDK how you can get to a point, as a sports fan, where you take a sporting result so seriously that you wish death threats on players. That's some broken brain stuff.

Yeah but you expect them to actually move the ball a bit and not stall after putting up those 28 points, we had like 6 minutes of TOP that last half before the last drive for the tying field goal. Gives the opposing team more opportunities and we gave them great field position with our punter who has kicked some noodle legged punts. Not saying we are bad, but you gotta do better than that in these bigger games.

Offense wasn't quite good enough .. defense not good enough .. special teams not good enough. The offense had some nice moments, but also had three turnovers and went cold in the 3rd quarter. The defense is basically a sieve that plays so embarrassingly soft out there. The special teams stunk it up .. a turnover, bad punts, and weak returns. It's a team game and a team loss today.
