nobody here said they are stopping them from scoring. i said the celtics have defenders to match up lol

that don't mean the celtics are gonna lock down three elite scorers in a modern nba (if kyrie even plays)

The team I actually like the most to containing them the best is the 76ers. But can they score enough? Probably not.

Pacers got some dogs on the perimeter and Turner can protect the rim but again, doubt they can match the firepower.

I like the Bucks to score easy in that series and don't think the Nets can contain Giannis like Miami/Toronto did. But man it better not be Middleton or bust again down the stretch.

Celtics? Just don't see it but some could be just thinking about how easy Kyrie/KD scored on Xmas. Can't overreact to one game but definitely don't give the Celtics a better chance than the Bucks.

Heat will give these guys some fits for sure and they do have the perimeter defenders to compete at least.

lmao what you mean you don't see it? two of the best two way players in the league with a versatile dpoy type candidate in smart? you just don't want to give the celtics credit here. tatum and brown are great defenders.

You're right, my bad! Tatum gives KD major fits and contains him. Brown contains Harden and Smart contains Kyrie.

Celtics in 5!

perfect, glad you conceded your whackass argument

The way you are talking this team up, I actually think it may Celtics in 5 over the Lakers if they are to meet in the finals. Unbelievable team you guys have!!!!

Stop taking it personal, just my opinion. Stop mentioning how good of a defender Tatum or Brown are when they can't do anything against KD. I never said the Nets can guard the Celtics on the other end, just your "all NBA" defenders don't do much this series and don't have the match up for KD.

I'll tell you what, one guy who has defended KD fairly well is Tucker. Go trade for him and I will change my opinion on a potential series between these two teams.

Am I alone in thinking this will blow up in the Nets face like the KG/Truth trade? Granted the timeframe and type of implosion will be different but this trade man. Let's put a hyper competitive guy with the most aloof and unreliable superstar we can find and then add a lazy bum who purposely got out of basketball shape to push a trade through and see what we get!

No way it gets that bad because the current Nets have Kevin Durant, tbh.

I've never wanted to see a team fail more. Sucks that Nash has to be a part of this.

This trade feels good now, but it will resonate for a long, long time

If the Nets win one now, it's worth it... But they better win one quick before it gets ugly
