Johnny Nix
I’m expecting a big year from Tee Higgins. He was on pace for over 1k yards last year until he and Burrow got hurt. Add in Chase and Tyler Boyd and I feel this offense is gonna be a top 5 passing attack, as long as the offensive line stays healthy.
Daniel
Darrynton Evans should be up for a big season now. Between spelling Henry and getting to be like the third option when teams are trying to cover Julio and AJ, he’s gonna have a lot of chances for yards. Bearerofnews
Joe Reed or KJ Hill. One of them is about to go off.
FrantikRam
Not sure how well known Cam Akers is, but he's going to be top 5 in rushing yards this year. Probably a bit too well known for this. Van Jefferson flashed last year and should get a lot of time at WR with DJax likely to get hurt. Jordan Fuller and Terrell Burgess will probably both start at safety - most likely candidates for this. Terrell Lewis - if he could stay healthy, which is extremely unlikely - would easily put up 10 sacks playing with AD.

There are PFF fanboys on here who laughably attempt to defend it tooth and nail...but their grades and rankings are typically trash. Their advanced stats are nice, but no one should take their rankings seriously. They are the Mel Kiper of football analytics....never particularly good at what they do, but casuals seem to think they know something, so they keep them around. I doubt he has a ProBowl type season. I'm just hoping for average play. I think if Cam Dantzler can stay healthy he'll surprise a lot of people. I love his skillset. Cam Dantzler would be my homer pick. Believe he was PFF's 2nd highest graded rookie corner, behind only L’Jarius Sneed
Geezy
Brian Edwards for the Raiders. He’ll be our starting X, was all the rave last TC then got hurt week 3. He has the size and jump ball ability Carr loves. I don’t think he gets enough opportunities with the run game, and Waller to be a Pro Bowler but he’ll be a big part of the offense for sure. Very excited to see him and Ruggs in year two with a full offseason.
ET80
Although I'm not expecting much from the team as a whole, I'd be remiss by not mentioning Jonathan Greenard - he was out of place as a 34 LB, so moving back to a 43 DE is probably going to be good for him. He lacks the size to be an every down DE, but he's a perfect situational edge rusher.

Well you do realize that PFF is employed by a ton of NFL teams correct? There is obviously something to what they are doing or the NFL wouldn't pay them for their work. I dont know how NFL teams use them exactly, but that doesnt dismiss how laughably horrid their grading system is. I remember years ago, they had an explanation for their grading system and how they assign positive/ negative plays, and it was really really bad. Am I saying I could do better? No....but that doesnt make their system any better. There may have been some chsnges since then, but Ive seen numerous grades and rankings the last few years that were terrible. Just because the NFL uses them doesnt necessarily mean they are good at what they do. Edited June 8, 2021 by 43M

Do you adhere much value to it when it comes to anything but a broad overview? Probably not. Is it a source of information that can be useful once in a while? Probably. If I have a ~700 million dollar business to run, what is a 10.000~ subscription to get an edge on my nearest competitors to me?

The one thing PFF doesn't take into account is the human element of the game because of their obsession with analytics, they may grade a player poorly for a play but they don't know for example what that players responsibility was on that play. They could have a completely different assignment on a play and PFF is grading them assuming they were supposed to be somewhere else. As a Ravens fan I found their grading of JK Dobbins hysterical. Let's leave out the 2020 first round picks. Here are two from the Chiefs Lucas Niang OT - Niang redshirted 2020 by opting out. While considered by some to be a potential 1st round pick, he was medically downgraded, hence the opt out. Now fully healthy, he spent the last year training with a specialist. In mini camp he looked fit and agile. L'Jarius Sneed CB - Sneed has the size to play S and rare speed even at CB, though he player safety at Louisiana Tech. From a minor school and a position change, so it's no wonder he slid to #138. Forced to start immediately, because of a suspension to Bashad Breeland, he led the league in interceptions when he broke bone in game #2, and missed nine games. In spite of that, he was a force down the stretch, playing mostly the slot receiver. Sneed allowed a passer rating of just 66.6 when targeted, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. He also blitzes with authority, garnering sacks in playoff wins against the Browns and the Bills. J A.J. Terrell for the Falcons. He's a beast at cornerback and the new scheme should only help him. Also, Matt Hennessy for the Falcons. He played well in the two games last year that he started, has a frame similar to Alex Mack's and could potentially be the long-term starter here. He might not be a Pro Bowl player unless the Falcons win, but the talent is there.
