I remember watching the All 22 having never heard of him, and thinking this guy reminds me a lot of Cameron Jordan which is obviously high praise. I was surprised at his lack of impact in the Broncos game this year but the game really got away from the Jets early, and obviously a conservative Offense limits the impact a DL can have. I like these slightly-more-than-expected-but-ultimately-less-than-market-value deals teams are signing ascending players to. While the players are most likely leaving some money on the table, they are getting money earlier and get continuity. Assuming the player continues to grow and play well, it is a win-win.
