-Hope- Posted August 26, 2022 Share Posted August 26, 2022 offensive line but specifically pass blocking. the way this team does OL evals is like something out of the stone age. literally all they care about is whether you can run block in a ZBS. we're closing in on a decade of taylor lewan being the only competent pass blocker on this damn OL, and then we wonder why every year in the playoffs when we actually have to drop back and pass everything goes to ****. Tight End is also pretty rough for us. We had a good one, Jermichael Finley, then he broke his neck. Since then we have trotted out the corpses of Jimmy "the thief" Graham, Martellus "that's racist!" Bennett, and Marcedes "5.8 40 yard dash" Lewis. We also had a nice 4 game stretch from Jared Cook. And what is really frustrating is that while we struggle to utilize the tight end position, we also struggle to cover them. Every freaking one of them looks like a star against us.
