I need to have CJ Stroud in the playoffs.

That would be amazing. Gotta root for him at this point. I was rooting the Jags to win that division, but they look like one of the worst 6-3 teams ever and not showing any heart. The passion in the Texans right now is incredible.

     Here are the numbers before and, in the standings and current playoff ("PO") status for the AFC, after Week #10:

== Aggregates, Ease of Schedule, Yards, Points, Win/Loss, Playoffs =

Wk10 Ovrl-Rk | Ofns-Rk | Dfns-Rk || Offense | Defense || Standings EoS
AFC  **** ** |         |         || Yds Pts | Yds Pts || Wn Ls  PO
             |         |         ||         |         ||
K.C.  952 18 |  363 15 |  589 20 || 7th  12 | 4th 2nd ||  7  2  1A  17
Balt  852  8 |  360 14 |  492  6 || 6th 6th | 2nd 1st ||  7  3  2A  31
Miam  894 11 |  316  9 |  578 17 || 1st 1st |  12  25 ||  6  3  4A  28
Hous  896 12 |  296  5 |  600 21 || 9th  11 |  19  14 ||  5  4  7A 8th
Jkvl  893 10 |  378 16 |  515  9 ||  14  10 |  23 8th ||  6  3  3A  15
Rdrs  885  9 |  300  6 |  585 19 ||  29  26 |  16  19 ||  5  5      22
Pitt 1022 24 |  452 25 |  570 15 ||  28  29 |  13 T17 ||  6  3  5A 7th

      The Chiefs' defense grossly outperforms its past incarnations and even their own talent level.  That's spelled "C-O-A-C-H-I-N-G".

      I have Cleveland out and Pittsburgh in largely because of Ease of Schedule and partly because the Steelers are better coasters.

      Assuming Baltimore and Miami can stay healthy they should win their divisions easily.

      Houston's soft schedule and momentum should allow them to overtake Jacksonville, whose defense is one of the untold stories of 2023.

      Recent additions by subtraction in Las Vegas should allow Mad Maxx to vault the Raiders into the playoffs.

Colts (6-5) currently 7th seed

remaining QBs on schedule

Ten/Will Grier

Cin/Jake Browning

Pitt/Kenny Pickett

Atl/Desmond Ridder

LVR/Aiden O’Connell

Hou/CJ Stroud

Colts are just as likely to be knocked out in the Wild Card round or accidentally upset someone.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we lose to Tennessee next week. Colts and Titans just have to split.
