He probably wants to start, wants to get paid more, and might even have starting stipulations in NIL money. He could still stick at USC or he could get paid and go elsewhere. Family situations need you closer to home? Coach left? You feel unsafe? Something... still not a huge fan of this chaotic free for all. That kinda fits one of the guidelines I presented. If these coaches can leave the kids, the kids can leave as well. Honestly it is kind of nuts how well Ole Miss is doing in the portal, no team in the country has got more talent than Ole Miss in the portal at the moment. A lot of pretty high level defenders on that list and Wells when healthy is a big play WR.  Walter Nolen DT Princely Umanmielen DE Antwane Wells WR Chris Paul ILB Tyler Baron DE Tahveon Nicholson CB Key Lawrence S Louis Moore S Decamerion Richardson CB Tamarion McDonald S  JJ Pegues is returning to Ole Miss also but Baron/Nolen/Umanmielen will all start with him. And Paul will start at ILB and Perkins returns as the OLB, and the secondary Nicholson will start and maybe Richardson at CB and possibly Lawrence and Moore at safety. The entire defense will be new outside of a few dudes honestly.  Great to have but Dart is still there QB, honestly need kind of an upgrade there because sure he is good as a runner but is limited as a passer. And was sacked 26 times last year and they got only one OL so far in the portal and their better OL in Warren and James graduate and leave I assume and Pettus their most talented was hurt most of the season.   Still however the booster system is at Ole Miss all of a sudden, they paid up I am sure to get all those guys to call come to Ole Miss. Sad state of the game but I really doubt they came to Ole Miss because of the coach and the culture, they just play in the SEC and they paid the most is my assumption....
