Yeah, I feel like he would've been better off bulking up and adding weight to play some 3T.
Leader
Tommy Malecki - If I recall, “A Football Life: Charles Woodson” is a great little hour special about his career and I think Woodson has openly admitted he absolutely did not want to play in GB, but I think Packers were the only team offering a serious contract? Andrew Brandt - His agent would repeatedly ask: "Andrew, any black people up there besides the players?" I would answer: "Well, not really. But I'm Jewish; there are not many Jews up here either but we enjoy living here."
Leader
Charles Woodson Matt Schneidman - Aaron Rodgers: “I think he’s the most talented guy that I ever played with." Khalil Mack: "He felt like he could make every play." Reggie McKenzie: "I think the move to Green Bay cemented Charles’ Hall of Fame status." R T
If a large percentage of the fanbase could grasp this about all players, forums would be a much better place. It takes time for most players. Tom Silverstein @TomSilverstein ST coach Mo Drayton said that a study he did showed that the average specialist needs three years before he starts to reach his potential. He said that's why it's important to stick with LS Hunter Bradley and P JK Scott. Said the NFL game is very different than the college game.

I would be fascinated to see this study, because I'm pretty sure long snapper is just a thing where you're great at it or you're not. I can see how some things might change for punters and kickers, but that's interesting On the plus side, at least Drayton feels the need to defend Bradley. That at least let's us know he's aware Bradley sucks.
Leader
Zach Kruse - Mike Smith on #Packers OLB Tipa Galeai: "If that joker can put on 10 more pounds, he's a demon now. He plays hard. Very smooth, quick. Great chop and spin, great counter, great get off. Gotta get better with his power. If he puts some weight on, he'll be a damn good player."

It's probably nothing more than camp talk - a coach talking up a borderline player - but if I were that player, I'd be pounding down the food and working the weights! If an extra 10Lbs is the road map to a "secure" role in the NFL - you gotta take your best shot. Edited August 8, 2021 by Leader
