thrILL!
There’s also the possibility that Pittsburgh just whiffed on both of their QB acquisitions. 0/2 on those might make Tomlin’s seat hot enough to melt steel. #AmIDoinItRite
NFLGURU
I think the manufactured phoneiness of Wilson is what gets him in trouble. He's an image guy who doesn't bond well with teammates. I think he's a good person, it just comes across as snobbish. Blue collar Pittsburgh will see right through that. Fields will try to be Pittsburgh tough, works fine for but you gotta be able to throw. They'll appreciate him running over people, but that leads to short shelf life as a QB. Cant say I blame the Steelers. They're getting both of these guys for peanuts. We'll see what happens.

This ☝️ They determined that Pickett was wanting, so they've got future options for nothing.

Mazrimiv
Yep, looks like it's the Jags. A match made in heaven. Former Packers TE Josiah Deguara signing with Jaguars

Eternal
The Chiefs will look at Rees-Zammit at running back and perhaps wide receiver. His biggest immediate impact could come on special teams and particularly as a return specialist under the NFL's new kickoff format. Mazrimiv
Some interesting variance in owner reactions to receiving poor grades on the NFLPA report card. PIT (28): It doesn't get presented to us, it gets presented to the media, so as far as I'm concerned it's a media opportunity for the Players Association as opposed to a serious effort of constructive criticism. NE (29): Kraft said the team plans on working on a new $50 million workout facility and believes the lack of team daycare is an “easy fix” per MassLive’s Mark Daniels. KC (31): Hunt finally had a chance to defend himself over the locker room grade this week, and according to the owner, he never promised the players that the locker room would be getting a renovation. WAS (32): We’re trying to make a lot of changes very quickly,” Harris said. “Obviously, it starts with the NFL player community is a small community. The NFL coach community is a small community. We want to be a place where everyone says, ‘That’s a great place to be.’ Therefore, we need to upgrade that facility. I think we can probably see which teams will be staying near the bottom of these rankings.

So they needed to go all in at the QB position to either have their minds changed or have their minds made up. Realistically, Tomlin should have been fired half a decade ago. Since their Super Bowl loss to the Packers: 13 seasons. 5 missed postseasons. 6 one and done playoff exits. Otherwise, they've won 3 postseason games since 2010. Steelers haven't done much for sure the past decade.

And thats with Roethlisberger at QB for nearly all of that time. Add in Bell, brown, upper tier defenses yearly, not great success in the playoffs
