im still not a fan of using picks on kickers and punters in most situations, but I also just want this fixed, so I don’t really care at this point.

No doubt. 

I’m not a fan of drafting specialists, either, but the Ravens have a pretty good track record of scouting kickers. That makes me feel better about this move.

But if this guy can stabilize the kicking game and is truly as talented as suggested, I don't think anyone will complain about the trade. Especially Zimmer, who's yet to find a good long term kicking solution.
