  1. Past hour
  2. Well, according to Schefter had we not picked Daniels it would’ve been McCarthy.
  3. Don't love the pick. Worthy bring the same attributes we've had over the years, in good and bad ways: electrifying speed, drops and inconsistency. He's super young and has high upside obviously, I just think he's more Mecole than Tyreek honestly. Also worth noting that the Bills were more than willing to let us trade up for him. But if there's one team who can make it work it's probably us. C grade for me
  4. It works when your guy is young. Patrick Mahomes laid the groundwork for these, essentially keep spreading the massive cap hits further and further. It gets higher obviously as they age, but only really kills you once that QB leaves/retires/sucks.
  5. Imgur often doesn’t coexist here for some reason
  6. He will have to really prove he can be a starter. I have hope for him, but he was not very good last year. With luck, he will not step on the field this season and can learn from two of the best. Its kind of funny that our top two needs this year could be our top two next year as well.
  7. That's what I eventually did and it worked. At first, I was trying to post a link from Imgur. That used to work, but they must have changed something on that site or this one. Thanks for your help, brother!
  8. It's probably Stafford right now, but there were some added tonight who might have something to say before too long!
  9. Links from other sites will automatically embed, just copy/paste the exact URL in the regular box.
  10. Johnny Newton and DeJean are obvious ideal, dream picks to me. McKinstry, Mitchell, McConkey, Power-Johnson (if they think he could play G), Cooper or Colson are all solid options as well.
  11. Look at that slant, dig & post%...and now he gets to learn from Keenan Allen how to dominate the middle of an NFL field as well.
  12. Love everything about the pick. I love linemen who can move. High upside, gives us so much versatility on the line, continue to help Jordan. Perfect.
  13. This was the worst year in recent memory for NFL Network and ESPN tipping picks. Especially Jeremiah and Rapoport on NFL Network.
  14. Copy the picture/image address. Go down to “insert image from url” box in the lower right of the screen just above “follow topic” and “submit reply”. Paste the URL in that box. Enjoy
  15. Colson at 38 wouldn't be bad at all, to keep it going.

  17. Here’s the thing, if you think Nix is going to be a bust then the pick is a disaster because the absolute worst decision a franchise can make is to spend a 1st round pick on a bust QB. Obviously the best thing is to find a franchise QB, but if you take a guy and he busts then you run into each of the following issues: 1) It’s a waste of a valuable resource (#12 overall pick) that could have been spent on a first round talent at another position. 2) Having a bad QB means you’re going to lose a lot of games - even more so than if you just didn’t have one at all because you get the benefit of starting a solid veteran instead and you have an impact player at another position. 3) It anchors you to playing that guy for 2-3 years. So you miss out on the next QB class or two even if a better option is available. Also means you miss out on any good FA/trade options that might come up. Now, Sean Payton and George Paton are much more experienced evaluators of QB talent than any of us on this forum will ever be, so you’ve got to give them a pass to the extent that if this guy does hit, then they’ve done very well to get the franchise QB without having to trade up and mortgage future draft classes. BUT, from both my own personal watching of his games and listening to media evaluations from guys I trust, I think the most likely career path for Bo Nix is being a Case Keenum level player. If that prediction turns out to be accurate and we’ve just signed up for another three years of QB purgatory, then both SP and GP should be the fall guys and it’ll be time to completely hit the reset button on this incredibly sad era for the franchise.
  18. This sim expansion followed the same model as the Texans' expansion draft, selecting either 30 players from the expansion pool or a lower number of players whose contracts must surpass 38% of the cap. The Irish Wolfhounds expansion team was created in 2020; I've tracked its previous moves, including coaching staff hiring, Trades, Claims, FA, Draft, and UDFA activities, in an Excel document. This new thread is being created because edits, etc., on posts in the previous thread have made it challenging to follow the team's moves without access to the Excel document. Some simple guidelines I've been following since the team came into existence in 2020: Coaching staff members can be cherry-picked from the unemployed or those employed at a lower coaching position; for example, OCs can be hired as HCs. Though ideally done live, drafting should be done as reasonably possible, considering the 6-hour time zone (the draft usually gets going at 2 a.m. here). The team can adopt IRL trades and signings in Free Agency, except for players resigning from their original team. Below are the moves the team have made each season so far: WOLFHOUNDS 2020 - (2/14) HC Eric Bienemy | OC Mike Lafluer | DC Kris Richards FREE AGENCY NFL DRAFT UDFA CLAIMS TRADES N Kwiatkoski LB - 3/21m 1.01) - Joe Burrow, QB, LSU Tyler Clark, DT Alex Light, T From Wolfhounds: J Conklin T - 3/42m 2.50) - Josh Jones, T, Houston Javaris Davis, CB Jake Hanson, IOL 21 3rd & 22 5th Kevin Pierre Louis LB - 1/3m 3.65) - Neville Gallimore, DT, Oklahoma Jaron Bryant, CB Hakeem Butler, WR - Kendall Fuller CB - 4/40m 3.82) - Terrell Lewis, Edge, Alabama Yasir Durant, IOL Albert Huggins, IDL Vikings Tre Boston SAF - 3/19.8m 4.107) - Brycen Hopkins, TE, Purdue Kyrs Barnes, LB Francis Bernard, LB Yannick Ngakoue, Edge Danny Shelton DT - 2/8m 4.124) - Eno Benjiman, RB, Arizona St Joseph Charlton, P Andrew Billings DT - 1/3.5m 4.131) - Hakeem Adenjii, G, Kansas Steven Wirtel, LS Joe Looney C/G - 1/2.4m 5.147) - Donovan People Jones, WR, Michigan Zach Shackleford C From Wolfhounds Mackensie Alexander CB - 1/4M 5.164) - Jonathon Garvin, Edge, Miami Dante Olson LB David Johnson, RB Adrian Philips DT -2/6m 6.180) - Rodrigo Blankenship, K, Georgia Neville Clarke CB 20 2ND (33), 21 4th Danny Vitale FB - 1/1.3m 6.197) - Quez Watkins, WR, SMU Quartney Davis WR - Jordan Jenkins Edge - 1/5.5m 7.215) - Luq Baracoo, CB, San Diego St Anthony Gordon QB Texans Jordan Ta'amu QB - 1/6.8k 7.232) - Joe Baichie, LB, Michigan St Reggie Corbin RB Deandre Hopkins, WR James Burgess LB - 1/950k 7.255) - J.R Reed, S, Georgia 20 4th (131) Jeremiah Attaochu Edge - 1/1.65m Blake Bell TE - 1/1.7m Demarcus Robinson WR - 1/2.5m Devin Funchess WR - 1/2.25m Dion Lewis HB - 1/1.5m Ricky seals-jones TE - 1/925k Michael Schofield G - 1/1.5m WOLFHOUNDS 2021 - (7/10) HC Eric Bienemy | OC Graham Harrell | DC Kris Richards | OPG Pep Hamilton | ORG Duce Staley | DPG Gerald Alexander | DRG Jarod Mayo FREE AGENCY NFL DRAFT UDFA CLAIMS TRADES Extend EDGE Y Ngakoue - 2/26m 1.12) Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern Jonathon Adams, WR Thomas Graham, CB Wolfhounds: Extend TE Nick Boyle - 2/13m 2.46) Joseph Ossai, EDGE, Texas J Imatorbhebhe, wr Jimmy Mooreland, CB 2022 3rd Extend WR Demarcus Robinson - 1/ 2.48) Ifeatu Melifonwu, DB, Syracuse T Terry, WR Keke Coutee, WR - Extend CB Mackensie Alexander - 1/ 4.109) Daviyon Nixon, IDL, Iowa K Yeboah, TE Micheal Jordon, IOL Jags 4.121) Caden Sterns, SAF, Texas Nick Eubanks, TE CJ Henderson, EDGE 4.122.) 19. If AJ Hawk gets paid a $1 a word he won't be getting any money. I have watched a couple hours and he hasn't said a word. Mad mel is funny for a bit. Pat is great Bill is the star.
  20. How many times have we’ve been burned reaching for need? I wanted Arnold and he went 24 lol Bowers was a legit top 5 talent.
  21. Yup this is a good point. Admittedly I was underwhelmed initially but shouldn’t be when you get someone of Bowers quality.
  22. Some people may argue that they have had weak candidates, but these may tend to strengthen their case just a little.
