Ranking the (B)East - DL Group

Who has the bestDL Group for the 2019 season in the NFC East?

Put a heavy emphasis on starting group, but consider depth as well. 2 Starters & 1 Bench Player will be representative of the whole - positions will not matter.

Most points will be the starter - second most will be the Back-Up. (Hopefully there are no ties, but in the event I feel - or enough posters would like an amendment or a run-off we will decide how to proceed then.

Don't particularly think he makes the difference. 7 career sacks.

If Brandon Graham even somewhat returns form the Eagles run away with this.

He was a better pass rusher than Tank. On 50% of the snaps. Probably the most talented DL in the East, if not the NFL. But it doesnt matter, he isnt playing

Gregory is the second best DL behind Cox in the NFC E. He is a better pass rusher than Dlaw. So if we had him, your comments would be false.

Dallas lacks the star-power at DT's that the Eagles and Redskins both have. But Dallas has great Edge presence.

Eagles are great overall.

Redskins are really deep, though.

Giants are clearly last.

I am leaning Redskins - but am Unsure.

You still wouldn't have any depth to speak of.

So, am I basing this on the whole or just who is listed?

The Eagles have the best DL, possibly in football. But that’s considering the whole. If it’s just the three listed then it’s more of a debate.

That's not the Redskins starting DL. As I think Mknight has pointed out the Redskins 3 down lineman are:

Allen

Payne

Ioannidis

Then, we run a 3-4 so our OLBs/EDGE rushers are Kerrigan & Sweat.

I think there's an argument to be made that this is the best front 4/5 in the division.

As for this exercise, Kerrigan, Jon Allen and are our best starters. Our best bench player is Tim Settle, our back up NT. If we hadn't drafted Payne last year, Settle would have started and done a good job.

Gregory is the 2nd best DL in the division based on what? I think it's pretty clear that Demarcus Lawrence is the 2nd best and id probably put Kerrigan and Allen above Gregory also.
