warfelg
There’s long been speculation that when Ben went, Pouncey, Tomlin, Colbert wouldn’t be far behind. I wonder if this injury changes that.

Worked out for Philadelphia. 5 Years after Reid (I'm assuming you aren't talking about Kelly, who clearly doesn't have a resume comparable to Tomlin). Obviously, you can change a coach and win a super bowl and I get your logic generally, but to me it's like saying "Well, Aaron Rodgers hasn't won a super bowl in a while so we should move on from him just to switch things up". Tomlin is arguably a top 2-6 HC in the league, I'm not sure you do much better by picking up someone off the street. For every Pederson, McVay or Harbaugh there are a bunch of Hue Jacksons, Steve Spagnuolos, Gus Bradleys, etc. I feel like Pederson is generally more of the exception than the rule when hiring a new HC.

Oregon Ducks
Tomlin is a really good coach. He's not the problem.
Toddfather
Is Roth done? From the outside I felt the Steelers have been putting a band-aid on their team for a few years, and really need a rebuild.

This could be the worst thing to ever happen to the Steelers if Tomlin gets that as an excuse. The Steelers are not a good team with or without Roethlisberger. I doubt it. Mike McCarthy is too old to play quarterback in the NFL.

EL Guapo
Eli and Ben going out at the exact same time would be pretty weird if the Giants oblige

minutemancl
2019 may be the end of an era. Eli is done soon, this injury may expedite Big Ben's retirement, Drew Brees is out for a while, and Rivers shouldn't be far behind Ben. Brady is going to be the last man standing. Soon Mahomes and the other youngins will be taking over the league.
