Now watch it all come crumbling down with using all our remaining cap space on Hooper and trading our first round pick for Hopkins to end up with nobody at IDL.  Look like a contender winning 15 games.  Beat the Niners in a revenge game in the divisional round, then have to sit through Alvin Kamara and Taysum Hill run for 300 yards against our utter lack of a presence outside of Kenny Clark.

I’m saying it now so it doesn’t happen.  If we don’t significantly address our IDL, nothing else matters.

Yay. Thank you browns!

Nice upside deal for a patch. Similar to Kirksey, he’s got a lot of the cap hit (13%) tied to health. Easily cut-able in Y2 if things don’t work out or if they stumble on a stud rookie OT in the draft.

graded well except for last yr. even last yr, graded as the #23 OT over his last 5 games. #41 over his last 7g (including only 1sack & 1 QB hit). That’s perfectly fine for your 2nd-best OT.

I wonder where this leaves Taylor, now that it looks like there is less chance of them shifting Turner to RT. Maybe can cut for a big FA swing over the next few days, or just keep for the OL depth and competition next camp.

Bill O'brien might give us JJ Watt and $10M cash for Lane Taylor.

I’m certain Gutekunst has plenty of intell on what Bulaga’s market value is, but it will still be interesting to see how much he earns on the free agent market. Huber, the SI writer, makes a “No $h_t Sherlock” statement when he says,However, replacing Bulaga with Rick Wagner can’t possibly be viewed as an upgrade from a pure performance perspective. Really ?!?

BB simply played his way out of Green Bay by having a stellar 2019 season. Good for him, too bad for the Packers. We’ll see how well Gute’s patch job works out, but he’s undoubtedly done his homework of Wisconsinite Wagner.

Meantime, I still GB will try to keep Veldheer on board. If that comes to fruition it gives Gute even more flexibility to wait for a quality young tackle to fall to him in the draft.

Now this is getting really interesting!
