????? How is he not getting death threats right now?

Im surprised I have not heard of an assassination attempt already.

Watt is more to Houston than football. His efforts during Harvey saved the city, moving Watt (unless he asks to move) will get bomb threats at NRG.

Um, you pay him? Instead of paying $18mm to Cobb, picking up two horrible contracts in DJ or Cooks?

In fairness...it was only a horrible contract for the Rams at the current point because of the bonuses.  It's actually good for you guys if he's healthy and playing like he was 2-3 years ago and just being healthy. 8 million this year, 12, 13, 14 the next three. That's actually pretty solid.

I feel like there's some nice synchronicity here....

Nobody was ever likely to match your meltdown at Houston trading Hopkins, and the first widely acknowledged post to receive the new "badge", is a post in a thread where Houston made another weird trade involving a wide receiver.

Pretty sure Hopkins was asking for a big pay raise to stay with the team but let's just sweep that part under the rug...

Yes Hopkins was asking for a big pay raise but its literally what Brandin is making right now and also on top of that Fuller is probably going to be demanding big money next year so if youre going to trade him why this year?!?!

I can only assume Cooks+Cobb will be making more money than Hopkins. But all of this happened because of Nuk's financial demands

Exactly. Next year Will Fuller will be looking for a raise too and we just signed Cobb to a three year which basically guarantees he'll be here for a long time.

So why didn't we go with a safer alternative of paying possibly the best wide receiver 20 million a year? Idk.
