I still staunchly maintain that Scotch needs a couple ice cubes to really open up and be lovely.  It's Bourbon that needs to be neat imo.

Sometimes you need some sugar, bitters, and ice with your bourbon.

I generally agree with Scotch, but I've some where the slightest amount of water can make the peat and smoke overbearing. Especially for somebody that hasn't worked their way into some of the stronger Scotches. Could also just be me because I'm the guy that would have Scotch money, and spend it on a top rye, bourbon, or a Japanese whiskey instead.

Sooooooooo good

MKE Brewing is vastly underrated in Wisconsin. Leiny's, Lakefront and New Glarus get a lot of the pub but MKE tends to usually blow them away every time I have their stuff. That and Raised Grain Brewing is another little gem outta Waukesha. I love this friggin' city. It's like a beer drinkers candy shop.

My buddies and I did a whiskey secret santa and I was sent this:

It's god damn delicious.

Breck does some good stuff. I haven’t had anything bad from them.

The distillery tour is supposed awesome. They overserve you, and you’re at around 10k ft.

I drank Jonny Walker last night for the first time in many, many years.

I forgot how much I liked Jonny Walker..... I like it very much.

I hate that stuff with a passion.

I finally opened my 18 year Jameson a couple months ago when I graduated. That stuff is fantastic.

Don't like the smoky goodness? Definitely not for everyone. I love islays though so this is kinda up my alley.

I just don't care for scotch whiskey, or scotch in general. It tastes like I'm chewing on a tree.

Irish whiskey and bourbon is more of my wheel house.
