The Vikings gave up a #1 for Sammy Sleeves. Sammy lasted a few games, they get to the NFCCG with Keenum and the pick they gave to Philly strip sacks Keenum in the Red Zone at 14-7 and Philly is off to the rout. You realize Philly really messed with Minnesota for like 4 years straight right? 2016 Teddy goes down. Minnesota gives up a 1 and 4 to the Eagles for Bam Sadford. Philly gives Minnesota 1st loss of the year week 6 which snowballs into an 8-8 year. 2017 Philly beats Minny in the NFCCG. Sadford doesn't even start the game. The pick that Minnesota traded to Philly (Barnett) recovers a fumble in the Superbowl to beat New England for their first ever Lombardi trophy. 2018 Minnesota beats Philly in the regular season but miss the 6th seed in the playoffs for...you guessed it: Philly. Sadford signed with Arizona and was set to give Minnesota a 3rd round comp pick after week 10. Sadford was cut Week 9. 2019 Minnesota beats Philly again but finishes with a worse playoff seed. 2020 not sure. At least you didn't take Jefferson! MacReady
If the Browns give up another first round pick for another receiver they deserve to fall right back to the bottom of the league in a year. If Baker Mayfield can't be a good QB with the receivers he currently has (which is a better receiving corps than the majority of NFL teams), your problem isn't WR.

Then they trade us Hurts for a future 1st, who predictably busts.

That "Browns Trade for OBJ" thread in NFL News is an all-time read.

Oh did you not want me to also mention in 2006 when the Browns traded back with the Ravens where they selected Haloti Ngata and the Browns took Kameron Wimbley??? OR the time where the Browns in 2014 traded out of the #4 pick passing on Kahlil Mack so they could instead take Justin Gilbert at #9??????

An injured Landry (cracked rib), Higgins and Peoples-Jones? That's better than the majority of teams in the league? I think part of the problem in Cleveland was WR but not a lack of them. Just not the right one (OBJ). I would not think about giving up a 1st for a WR for Cleveland. They don't need a stud there. They are a run first team, especially when Chubb returns.

How good was Mayfield before Odell got hurt? Because you know you gotta count him in that conversation, right? You know that, right? People need to stop being in such a hurry to yeah, but... people and instead think before they post. Just take the loss on this one and please don't respond. You know you were too hasty to respond and didn't think first. Yes. Beckham and Landry is a better receiving corps than most teams. Just because Beckham is now injured does not - believe it or not - mean he was injured for the past 23 games.

Currently has. OBJ is done. He isn't current. Mayfield is better when he isn't throwing to OBJ. I'm not saying OBJ isn't good but that connection is bad and the pressure to feed him results in a negative for the team and Baker.
