ET80
Owner made his fortune from Home Depot, HC lived off fortune from FedEx. I smell corporate collaboration here... ...I also expect Matt Ryan in the MVP conversation, and I expect Atlanta to field a top 3 offense with a OROY RB.

tgrades3
Beat of luck Art! Really like this hire for ATL
SteelKing728
Isn't Atlanta's biggest issue on defense?
-Hope-
happy for art. well deserved (and happy that he’s gone to a team that i can actually root for him to have success with lol) i think he’s a great fit there. ryan had his best season with kyle shanahan and art is very much cut from that cloth. i’d be lying if i said i was fully confident in his ability to be a head coach, and he does have the infuriating tendency to get way too cute at the worst times, but you can’t ignore the body of work he’s put together. congrats falcons fans

Oregon Ducks
I don’t see it. I hope for ATL’s sake I’m wrong.
TitanSlim
Happy for Arthur Smith. Grinded his way for years through multiple head coaches and now gets an opportunity to be one himself. Now if the Falcons can grab a quality RB, they should have an offense similar to their 2016 team.
Broncofan
Um.....are we sure Smith will accept? Seriously asking, was ATL the only place he interviewed? If he comes on - gotta think he's going to want to install his O - and move on from Matt Ryan (as opposed to staying with Raheem Morris, or going with a D-minded HC). Kirill
Eric Bienemy would've been a better hire. These teams are going to regret not being patient letting us win the chip then hiring him

Nothing is official yet though it is looking that way. It will be interesting though. Smith has had other interviews. Clearly Eagles are interested too.
