That's my problem with this trade. If we're going all in, find a way to get Deshaun Watson. And I don't doubt we tried. I don't think the Texans feel near as leveraged to have to trade Watson as the Lions do with Stafford (mostly because the decision in the case of the later was reached mutually). Also, as I stated in our forum, us trading for Watson (and you knew this because you outlined it in your mock) was contingent on trading Goff. If the Texans had no interest in Goff on the contract he's on, I doubt they're going to sit around waiting for us to unload Goff in an even more unlikely 2nd trade to another team, quite possibly/likely using up assets they would also want coming to them as part of a trade for Watson. Not an excuse, Stafford on the whole hasn't performed all that well, but he wasn't on great teams and it's not like everything else was going great and he personally just boned it up.
