NFL rules have changed to such a degree that QBs can project playing well into their 40's. IMO that wouldnt be the case if the rules hadnt changed and they were getting plowed regularly. Fines are now mandatory and the team cannot forgive them per the CBA. It is Aaron Rodgers so anything is possible. I don't think you can just give a guy a bonus that was not called for in his contract. The only thing Rodgers has coming to him this year is his salary. So I'm not sure how you can do that. I think the NFL was closing all of those type of loop holes to make teams enforce those fines. I could be wrong about that and will admit that but from what I've read those fines are sticking now. Yep. People out there saying we disrespecting Rodgers and Adams pushing them out. If they wanted to play for Green Bay they can. If they took half the salary, we would be more than happy to keep them here long term and they would still earn astronomical amounts of money unimaginable to the general public.
