Had all offseason to figure this out. I mean both were unlucky freak injuries. One player had an old HS injury that finally came loose (Wentz). Eagles,Colts and Wentz didn’t even know about it. While another player got his foot stepped on and found out he had a extra bone that also came loose. Horrible luck I guess. Since he was drafted the Eagles were one of the most injured team in the NFL. Nobody in the O-Line could stay healthy. My understanding was this was an underlying thing they could have caught with an MRI at any time. Wasn't aware of the timing of it and yeah that's tough for any doctor to know. Unless a player is complaining about pain or recovering from a particular injury they don’t do all those scans.
