Forget his 17 TDs and 3 picks, look at the actual performance. (something like 21 TDs to 1 pick) Drops all over the place on deep balls and 2 of 3 picks were on the receivers. Brady is playing at a 130+ rating level. Kyler Murray is also red hot. Lamar is awesome but he's not alone. Yeah, but narrative... Come backs against the Chiefs and Colts, two teams it turns out aren't that good.
NeptunePenguins
Okay the Chargers and Ravens were playing completely opposite of how I thought it would go. I will say the Texans are doing exactly what I thought they were gonna do though : (

They lost to a .500 team that had a crazy crowd Week 1. It happens. While there can be something said for teams that find a way... They could have very likely lost to the Chiefs, Lions, and Colts who are not good teams...

Had to take a chance somewhere.

He's been solid overall. Other parts of the team that haven't been showing up are, so he doesn't have to carry for once.

EDIT: Well, he wasn't for the last quarter or so. People, stop with these bad Chiefs takes. The reasons we're struggling cannot be shortened to one sentence, or it wouldn't have taken 4 years for it to happen.

BayRaider
The Colts are much better than their 1-4 record. The Texans are much worse than their 1-4 record.

The Ravens have a metric ton of injuries and they're still winning, due in large part to Jackson. That why I have him as the MVP right now. notthatbluestuff
This is another statement performance for the Ravens. Really impressive against a VERY good team.
ThatJaxxenGuy
Hollywood is like the opposite of a stat padder. Unreal in the clutch but drops it every time he gets a chance to pretty up the stat sheet

I agree - I just don't think that's how the voting happens I think the vote will be bulk stat based, as opposed to on-field impact on wins/losses
