Weekly reminder that the Raiders passed on the dude that took them to the playoffs for only the second time in the last twenty years to hire McDaniels. #GiveRichaHCJob

Not only that, but he did it whilst taking over a team midseason that was mired in scandal with the head coach having to resign, and he also had to cut two first round picks from the previous year due to one of them causing a fatal car cash and the other making death threats with a gun.

A huge waste of all that talent. Yeah I would probably fire him this season, and hope for someone like Payton.

Does anyone know if they still have to pay Gruden? Being on the hook for the salaries of 2 head coaches that you’ve fired would be terrible.

McDaniels sucks but last years raiders was more of a 6 win team that somehow won 10 games. Look at some of those wins

This get lost in the conversation even with Raider fans. 6 of their 10 wins came on a walk-off score. There was not sustainable. They were -64 in point differential, 4th worst all time to make the playoffs.

The did not have a playoff roster. Gruden/Mayock missed on 12 out of 13 top 100 picks and left them with 43 million in dead cap on poor free agent signings.

It shouldn't be this bad and the coaches need to take a lot of the blame, but this team was overvalued to begin with. The roster lacks top end talent and the depth is terrible.

Yeah it made raiders fans think the team was closer than it actually was. It was a bad team that got lucky
