His thumb was getting sideline attention during the game, and then he took a painful shot too is left knee. If Love plays well enough to pull out a win over Washington, and Rodgers' thumb heals up, that's a win-win. I doubt that starts a QB controversy. Not with a $50 million QB. That said, they better fix the O-Line or it's all moot. I would put Jenkins back at left G. That protects Rodgers' blind side. Move JRJ to right G, and insert Nijman at right T. It might take a few games for this line to gell, but the current line will never gell. Rodgers won't last the season playing behind them. Agreed. Nothing is going to work on offense until they get the OL figured out. There has been a lot of, "we just need to give Jenkins some time to settle in at RT" talk over the past couple weeks, but that ship has sailed. Playing Jenkins at RT is an obvious problem that is not getting better. It is (past) time for a change.

Its moot anyway because GB will likely get the 7 seed
dust247
What's going on with Wyatt? I would assume DLs would be plug and play, especially ones from the SEC.
cannondale
The transition from Adams being the first read on 90% of the pass plays, along with the mental mojo with Rodgers, to whatever this pass offense is supposed to be, isn't going well

DL takes time. Edge guys can usually be productive if they are fast enough but in the real trenches the level of talent and strength is a huge jump, even from the SEC. pf9
This is actually our second 2-loss streak under LaFleur - 2020 NFC title game followed by 2021 week 1.
pf9
Also, this game proved that we are no longer able to defend our turf under LaFleur either in the postseason or the regular season. Edited October 16, 2022 by pf9

But as far as what we invested into this defense yes, this is bad showing. absolutely terrible value. How many minutes was the D out there compared to the O? We haven’t been able to defend our home turf for some time. Particularly in the post season. Since Vick tore us a new one that one year it hasn’t been that hard to win at Lambeau in the postseason.
