What should new Washington nickname be?

If they do it, think it’ll be an obvious ploy to get points from new ownership. So something Hogs related or Redwolves…the names that fans actually wanted but Snyder was too cheap to buy.

I think probably all that happens is they get new uniforms sooner. When ownership changes hands, the NFL waves the 5 year rule on new main uniforms.

If I were to fix the look with keeping the name. I think they’ll drop that overly complicated roundel, instead adding a military style patch. A military inspired design of a Hog or some other animal in said patch. At the top, DC or COMMS (to try and force the abbreviation away from commies).

Do that with 3 uniforms that actually seem like they are part of the same set + a new fourth one and call it a day.

Road Hogs would be one I could get behind. A bit slapstick but I kinda dig it. 

They originated in Boston so the Celts would be a good spin off of the Celtics. 

The Sentinels would be a cool one imo with them being historic within the US. The Rangers would be an upgrade. Honestly I think the Commandos would have been the better version of Commanders

I think the name is pretty cool. Very good movie, to boot.

But you can easily keep the fight song, exactly as written. No changes...

Keep the colors B&G & do whatever you want with the Logo.

I like this name even better than the Hogs, Red Wolves or any other name. With the exception to Redskins.

It also ties in to their original name, before being called "Redskins".

Which was Boston Braves in 1932.
