And 1.5 games behind the Cardinals in their division...

Get to the playoffs and anything can happen.

The Rams came to GB last year in the playoffs and gave the Packers a game.

New to the Rams since that game:

Stafford

Donald was 1/4 speed with rib injuries

Cooper Kupp didn't play

Von Miller

OBJ, yet to be seen what he brings

Barring injuries, The Rams are going to be a tough out in the playoffs.

Not so sure.  OBJ would’ve become Rodger’s #2 in short order.  Sitting behind Woods and Kupp, he’ll likely see less action, and he must know this.

The Rams are much more wide open .. he'll push Van Jefferson's down a notch.  Jefferson has 27 Rec - 433 yds and 3 Td's. as a #3 wideout there.

It may be nothing, but did the Lions just cost us Odell? The Rams put in a waiver claim on Josh Reynolds a few days ago but the Lions claimed him as well and obviously had priority. According to Rapoport, the Rams weren't really players for Odell yesterday but ramped up their efforts today....

Not saying one is directly related to the other because they are different level players but would the Rams have stood pat had they landed Reynolds?

So, outside of “possibly” replacing a fairly productive #3 for LA, I’m still not seeing how OBJ improves the Rams or himself, regardless of their wide open scheme.  He’ll get his passes in LA, just like he would have from Rodgers.  He chose LA for reasons we still don’t know, but may soon find out.

Yeah, not sure why they even needed him.  They were already strong 1,2 and 3.  Rams probably figured he'd be useful and it keep him away from one of their probably playoff opponents.
