This is so obviously Aaron Jones' "prime" It's not gonna get any better than this from a production/role perspective. he's a 200 carry slasher back playing behind the best OL in football. Green also had a great OL, but the guy was the focal point of the offense, carrying the ball 250+ times per game for 5 years straight and going over 1600 scrimmage yards 4 years straight. Back then, RBs were picked much higher and much more frequently, and 2nd round RBs weren't always expected to start. Pick 76 is a depth guy in any draft, but a guy you hope might blossom. Sitting for 2 years says absolutely nothing about Ahman Green other than the situation he was drafted into.

Leader
Matt Schneidman - Packers C Corey Linsley is practicing and has been designated to return off IR from his knee injury suffered in Week 12. RB Jamaal Williams is not at practice today. He injured his quad early last Saturday night and didn’t return. Jace Sternberger still in concussion protocol. It will allow the Packers to get Lucas Patrick into a reserve role. Jace has been really slow to recover from this concussion. He recovered in two weeks during training camp last year. Seems he is at least on week three of recovery this time around.

Refugee
2 hours ago, Arthur Penske said: The stat itself is a bit misleading, part of the reason some of the victories are against sub .500 teams is because we handed them L's. For example, if we lose to the Bears, there's a very good chance we will have beaten a 9-7 team earlier in the season. If we handle business they will be 8-8. You play who's on your schedule. We've got a playoff team coming to Lambeau on Sunday.

The Saints are considered one of the best, if not the best, teams in the NFC right now and the only team they've beaten with a winning record is Tampa, which is less impressive than our W against the Saints. We really aren’t. If you’re not into DVOA or PFF a good way to judge a teams qualify is point differential. Last season we averaged about one more point scored than given up. This season we’re averaging about a touchdown more scored.

Leader
Andy Herman - Unpopular opinion alert: If it were me, I'd go with Krys Barnes as the primary/starting linebacker, and Christian Kirksey as the base/run down linebacker. I'd use Vernon Scott in the Raven Greene role at safety/linebacker. Just don't feel like Kamal Martin is fully ready yet.
Leader
If you're not able to make the game day roster cause you're getting beat out on STs........ Either you've leveled off in the NFL talent pool and met your match - or you'd better start pumping those arms - cause you're real close to drowning. PackerwWire - Third-year cornerback Josh Jackson has been a healthy scratch during two of the last three weeks. The reason? Special teams. LaFleur said considerations in the third phase have determined the pecking order at cornerback. “It always comes back down to special teams,” LaFleur said. “When you’re talking about the last two spots in the secondary, you’re going to put the guys out there that can help you the most on teams. He’s got to make sure he continues to work in that area.” The Packers have picked Ka’dar Hollman over Jackson as the fourth active cornerback behind Jaire Alexander, Kevin King and Chandon Sullivan recently. Jackson was an important player for six straight weeks while King battled injury, but he hasn’t played a snap on defense since Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
