animaltested
Two movie announcements this week got my attention. The French Dispatch [New Wes Anderson film] Green Knight - [A24 production, retelling of the medieval poem, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight]

Delaying and fixing the animation shows they cared more than most. Unless you believe that they intentionally released it terribly, then sparked and fanned the outage to elicit that response. I also think it will make decent money, but not as much as Detective Pikachu.
Fl0nkerton
Quote Sonic the Hedgehog movie is the visual reminder that every underdog (under-hedgehog?) can have his day & rise up from heels of failure. One questionable scene for kids, but overall what a family-centered movie should be. This review made me want to poke my eyes out lol I want it to do well because I like Bennie Schwa

Hopefully McDonagh can come up with a script at least close to as smart as In Bruges was.
August4th
The invisible man is getting early online praise. I'm getting hyped for that one. Leigh Whannell might be the next big thing for "genre" directors. I loved upgrade and he's in line to direct the Escape from New York remake.
