The guy would open games predictable and flat. He'd kill momentum after a big play trying to slow tempo. He had one tool in his bag for 3rd and 4th and short which only worked apparently 44% of the time. He would kill an offense in the name of balance. Olsen will need to keep it fresh. Really no surprise that a few tweaks have worked a treat........so far. It's only two games but let's see if this continues moving forward. agarcia34 Posted October 29, 2021 Share Posted October 29, 2021 Olsen has done a A+ job so far, but it’s a very small sample size and we have to see what his adjustments are when teams start to adjust to him. Which is why this bye week is important so he can continue to add to the offense. It is pretty ridiculous how little Gruden used play action and screen passes. PA is one of the most QB friendly things you can call. You don’t even need a running game for it to be successful.
