With Rodgers somehow managing to top Favre's flakiness during his final years in GB, I look fwd to seeing what kind of lunatic Love turns out to be 15 years from now.

Somebody should ask him that question ‘ Jordan, your two previous predecessors have really went off the deep end after 15 years in the league. How do you plan to go absolutely bonkers and continue that Packer QB tradition ?’

I can see the headline now- “following in the footsteps of his two predecessors, disgruntled Packers QB Jordan Love has been traded to the 0-17 New York Jets.  The relationship with the Packers broke down over his desire to have 4 time Super Bowl winning coach Matt Lafleur replaced, saying he is tired of Lafluer trying to suggest play calls during the games.”

Important to note.  This is Love's first regular season start and its the first step in a marathon.

Although many will try,  Love won't be a HOFer or a bust based on tomorrow's game.  Its the first page of a long book.

Don't be a Bears fan by putting Justin Fields in the HOF after a game of screen passes.

You should probably avoid the GDT

The question here is whether Love's career will be a marathon or a 5K

Looking forward to finally seeing the kid play.  Not expecting miracles.  If he can manage the game, move the chains, and avoid turnovers I'll be happy.   MLF said he has come a long way but is not there yet.  Wouldn't assume he is the next 15yr plus starter for GB.  We won't really know until he gets a full season under his belt regardless of what he does on Sunday.

Rodgers first start was:

18/22, 178 yards, 1 TD plus 35 yards rushing and a TD.

vs. Dallas in relief he was 18/26, 201 yards, 1 TD and 30 yards rushing.

So I think someone in between there would be just fine.

Or whatever gets the win. I'll take that.
