Love is ready to show us what he's got. We keep Bak, redo Jones' contract and see what Gute traded up for. 3. Love and Rodgers have the same agent. Status quo won't fly this year. Hopefully they can do just enough to make Aaron want to seek a trade. Then they will get to find out what they have with LaFleur/Love, and will also get some compensation for a soon to be 40 year old QB that has shown he can't get it done in big games any longer. Love will be at about a 7 of of 10 for anger, privately, while accepting a decent immediate guaranteed payday in that option. It would be higher, but David Dunn, agent for both Love and Rodgers, is already in early negotiations for a Top 10 QB contract for Love pending him playing as the coaching staff expects him to early in the season. Most likely 25 or 26 if Rodgers comes back and we don’t win it all. Whenever Rodgers is gone, we have to Quang Duc our salary cap for a season to cover the bill, especially if we have hope to pay Love a contract the same cap year as a reward for patience. That will cost us enough veteran players to deplete the roster of any non core players. Then we can make moves in Free Agency prior to Love’s second season starting, meaning the first time we can honestly say all the holes in the boat are possibly patched up is 2025. I like the chance with Rodgers. No broken thumb. Passing game should develop. Signing or replacing Tonyan will be tough but if they can get Lewis, Jones, Cobb all back, I can see Watson going over 1,000, Dobbs syncing up with Rodgers. OL finally on all cylinders.
