THE DUKE Posted August 10, 2020 Share Posted August 10, 2020 Rewatched X-Men with the family for movie night, and honestly, while there are a few really cheesy moments, it really does hold up for me. It has some really dark themes and is honest about them. I love Magneto's speech to Rogue about how he's honest with her about how he is going to kill her and when he tells her about it's great purpose even acknowledges that it will be little consolation to her.
